Take some Arabic music, throw in some Fado, world beats, jazz, percussion, piano, trumpet, and accordion and you’ll get RosaNegra. The vocalist has a rich, warm voice, and the music is well played, though it might be an acquired taste and it all tends to sound alike after a while. It’s definitely not for Fado purists.

*1. Mid/up blend of fado, jazz & Arabic pop.
2. Midtempo, driving, gets big. Like a Fado/Rai jam.
3. Lush, sad, slower. Lots of orchestration.
4. Arabian Nights epic w/strong beats, mid/uptempo.
*5. Relaxed love song w/lots of emotion & strong Arabic flourishes.
*6. Fado, world, jazz blend. Down/midtempo & oddly catchy.
7. Midtempo w/lots of big orchestration touches. Cool piano, tho.
8. A fado/rai/bullfighting hybrid. Upbeat, but a bit odd.
9. Mid/upbeat instrumental. Nicely played, strongly Arabic.
*10. Lush & romantic, soaring vocals. Midtempo & lyrical.
11. Upbeat w/fast vocals & a tripping melody.
*12. More traditional. I want more like this! So beautiful.
