This orchestra celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2005, here the music focuses on the tarab: swirling orchestral music with an Arabic sound (and a bit of India thrown in). Fiddles, perc, strings, flutes, and vocals, both male & female, solo and chorus. *1. Midtempo w/male vox, chorus & cool strings. A good sample. 2. Slowish, romantic w/fem vox. At 6:30 get midtempo. 3. Midtempo, smooth male vox. Cool instrumental bits at 4:30.. 4. Elegant, lyrical orchestration, warbling male vox. Mid/downtempo. *5. Sweet, relaxed instrumental; almost an Arabic café sound. 6. Sweeping orchestration, male vox/chorus. Midtempo, lush. *7. A relaxed love song that sounds vaguely ike an Arabic cha cha. 8. Rich, relaxed love song w/male vox. Slows down a bit later. | ||
