NY rap. HEAVY 70s soul and pop vibe. Solid beats, and Ghost can really fill up a track and make it his own. Edited for radio. FCC clean. Picks 2,9,14,20,24.
1-(1:02) Skit. Raekwon screwed, boasting.
**2-(3:44) Mid and catchy with soul strings, sndtrk horn stabs.
3-(4:00) Music til -3:30. Drug raps. slow funky. Funny Schoolhouse Rock hook ft. Raekwon.
4-(4:08) Old drum loop used on Supreme Clientele but with extra samples. A bit cluttered.
5-(0:06) Skit. Nice corny early 60's detective narration.
6-(4:14) RZA does the Wu role call. Posse cut. Awkward lame MF Doom beat. Voices are a bit low in the mix.
7-(1:32) Very slow slick rap
*8-(0:54) Skit. Ghostface giving directions. Turns jokey.
**9-(2:21) Starts with 1940's news update intro. Slow 70s beat. Vivid drug story rap like only Ghost can tell.
10-(2:39) Nice Pete Rock beat. Raekwon is too far down in the mix!
*11-(1:10) Skit. Ghost on the verge of beating up a six year old.
*12-(2:51) Honest rap you don't hear much. About being beat as a child for being bad. Slow beat. Chipmunk vox.
13-(4:01) The radio hit. ft. Ne-Yo on sugary hook.
*14-(3:19) Old school joint rapping. Nothing new, but nice.
15-(3:09) Very hot MF Doom beat used on MF Grimm's album. If u like it here, check Megalon rip it on "Rain Blood".
16-(3:50) Lusting after a girl. Slow organ heavy beat. ft. Cappadonna, Shawn Wigs & Trife
*17-(4:04) Mid/fast. Sparse. Bass, funk guitar clicks. Ghost's flow is on display. ft. Sun God, Raekwon, Trife & Cappadonna.
*18-( 1:56) Ghost in the barbershop. Neighborhood banter. Very slow 70s vibe, Ghost raps about flaky barbers.
19-(0:14) More 1940s mystery/news update on Ghost's escapades.
**20-(3:36) Ghost enters at -3:12. Very slow, very 70s pop/Stylistics. More talk about coke, nice picture painting. Ends up about hoping girl drops clubbing/sniffing and grows up.
21-(2:03) 70s jazz flute. Trippy MF Doom. Ghost raps about his trip underwater, and was clearly on something when he penned this.
22-(0:05) Another 1940's news update.
23-(4:49) Slow, spiritual, serious song dedicated to women who have lived hard lives. R&B fem vox. Keyboards. Big sliding elec. bass.
**24-(4:58) Fuzz/street noise. -4:30 audible sounds. Polished, current, very sinister, violent sound. Biggie Small's voice sounds at home on the track. Cool & Dre on the beat. ft. Biggie & Raekwon.
