Argentinian experimentalist who works with tapes. Most tracks have that familiar minimalism, slow to evolve loopness, drone that only working with tape can provide. Sorta old-school, but not old as tracks were made in the 90’s. Most are chill, don’t have that digital wackiness that moving stuff around with the click of a mouse results in. Hypnotic and serene mostly, like the best of NON, Lull. Good stuff, proving that today’s digital world has limited musicians with its unlimitlessness. Sometimes you just gotta push play/record at 15 ips and be happy with the result. If not, drop it down to 7.5 ips and loop it.
1) slow drone fade in, slow working in of high pitches and tape speed manipulations, toward end it becomes a creaking door hardpanned
2) this one sounds less analog, lots of blips and a synth, still looping
3) some well treated liquid sounds, starts to loop and high speed it, gets out of hand and cool quick
4) starts off mininimal, trippy, sparse trippy cinematic
5) starts very quiet, low noises come in fleeting, hard panned
6) cacophony of high speed moog/analog synth tones, cliché
7) slow fade in to one of the most beautiful loops I’ve ever heard, ebbs and flows a bit after 10 minutes but stays the course mostly, 16 minutes in length approximating the that sweet 16 minutes when vicoden first hits you and you feel magical
