Sweet (but not bubblegummy), laid back, sloppy pop. Comparable at times to Wilco and as such might be called “alt-country” by some. Comparisons to My Morning Jacket and the Silver Jews are reasonable. The male vocals are similar to someone familiar, but I can’t remember who.

My picks: 1, 10, 11 FCC: Clean
1. mid-tempo. starts with guitar riff and percussion, followed shortly by vocals.
2. med-slow. Strong bass and plinky piano over guitars.
3. med-slow. keys and guitars over steady drums. Energetic last minute.
4. med-slow. guitar and electric piano.
5. starts with multiple vocals. sounds like the Silver Jews doing a Beach Boys tune.
6. just guitar and vocals at the beginning. Then second guitar and drums come in. stays pretty simple.
7. instrumental. steady piano under plinking piano, atmospheric sounds, and here-and-there drums before the song goes into a steadier beat with jazzy piano on top.
8. melotron-flute sound and guitars with light drums.
9. steady strummed guitar with slide guitar and drums.
10. mid-tempo. Nice build-ups in the chorus
11. slower. slightly dark repeated guitar riff with electric piano.
12. med-slow. slide guitar along with the standard instrumentation.
