Energetic raw & rockin’ 70’s influenced punk. Lots of simple & catchy choruses. The majority of the songs get to the point rather quick. It sounds so authentically “vintage” that you’ll practically think it’s a band that released a few horribly obscure 7”. The benefit is that these guys are here RIGHT NOW and are right outta Oakland. Reminiscent of The Modern Lovers, The Dickies, N.Y. Dolls & (later era) New Bomb Turks.
(((((1)))))) Hammering riffs & infectious melodies. Great song title, too.
(((2))) Hand claps, total 70’s riff & vocals. Nice backing vocals & funny lyrics about an L.A. wastoid girl from L.A.. Goes on a little too long, tho'.
((((3)))) Very centered on the vocals with an extremely addictive chorus. Sounds a lot like the Dickies.
((4))) Decent riffs & vocals but too repetitive & borders on the generic.
((((5)))) (FCC “Fucking”) Anti-stoner rock uh…”stoner rock”? Funny, fast punk with lines like “slow and sludgy is not my thing…”
((((6)))) Twangy & filled with “ooo-ooo”s. Pretty nice & poppy yet still punky.
(((((7))))) Lots of fuzz in production, funny garage-y, number about wanting to be a shark.
((((8)))) Cheerleading-type intro, real rudimentary, early U.S. punk sound with a great guitar sound
((((9)))) Raw, wild poppy, addictive punk set on the wa 1976-78.
((((10))))) Wailing guitars, rudimentary riffs that just kill & an awesome sing-a-long chorus.
((((11))))) Fast, raucous & a deadly riff
((((((12))))) Trashy, spazzy & inspiring. This is some fine junk n’ roll!
((((13))))) Early 70’s glam mixed with 70’s punk. Histronic and filled with hooks.
