Singer/songwriter: One guy and a guitar, in indie-rock folky mode, doing short songs. Warbly, unpolished vocals but a clear recording sound. (Clutch's review has a pretty good handle on it, below.) Kind of a Mountain Goats wannabe when he tries to pour on the cynical humor (2,4,5,12), although he does get pretty funny. 1- *FCC* piss ... fairly fast minor-key strumming 2- Strong mid/fast. "Put your head in the oven!" 3- *FCC* (duh). Sad and tender, I guess 4- Fast strumming, strong strong air 5- Mid/fast, in triplet time. Amusing cynical take on love. 6- *FCC* Catchy and upbeat, pretty funny. 7- *FCC* "jerk off". Cheery. 8- A capella. Upbeat (musically) 9- Mellow mid/fast 10- Low-key Scarborough Fair sound 11- Pensive mid/fast 12- *FCC* "shit". Pretty funny "I hope you die" song, in a gentle strumming mode. | ||

Anti-folk? To me it sounds like lo-fi. Like listening to your slightly-out-of-tune friend play acoustic gtr with lyrics that are overly direct about your life.. Lots of FCCs. 1-(1:40) 2-(1:02) Joke song about suicide. 3-(2:23) LOTS of FCC "fucking". 4-(2:09) Fast strum.
