Circus Of Chaos

Reissue of a local mid-80’s hardcore band featuring Lori Black and Marc Detrum and both of whom would later play in the Melvins. This has a pretty raw sound but has that nice “crossover” 80’s metallic hardcore sound. Sort of between MDC, early Prong and D.R.I

((((1)))) Thrashy with cowbell and chugga-chugga breakdown.
(((2))) Straight-ahead very 80’s hardcore/thrash with dive-bomber solo.
((((3)))) Very “typical” but solid crossover thrash with Metallica-like riffing.
(((4))) Heavy rock/metal with standard riffs.
((((5)))) Fast, stormy hardcore with some cool breakdowns.
(((6))) Speedy and off-kilter. A little too messy.
((((7)))) Slow and sludgy, trippy vocals.
((((8)))) Circle pit havin’ thrashcore. Straight and to the point.
((((9)))) Slow, winding and nicely melodic not too unlike some of the later AmRep bands (‘ala Vertigo or Hammerhead).
((((10)))) Riffy hard rock with introspective vocals/lyrics.
(((11))) Back to the thrash and doing pretty decent but drags on too long.
