Avant-garde quartet that dips into some accessible post-bop jazz modes here and there. Smoky sax and vibraphone give it a cool feel; you can hear this in the opening passage of track 1.

- Complex and disjoint, but accessible.
+3- Dark midnight feel; Squirrely sax, deep bass, ending with a quick bop vamp.
- Cool jazz step. Crazy soprano sax towards the end.
- Warbly faux-swing, jaunty. Nice little shuffle feel with some nutso solo breaks.
- Gets into a cool bouncing bop-like groove
- Nice rambling theme over loping bassline.
- Squeaky skronky sax in a wandering Evan Parker style, into a more straight post-bop that gets a bit vicious.
- Gruff, fast sax solo over droney background. Then, a cool little shuffle. Slow bass solo ends it.
- Slow, quiet, floaty. Faster improv later, abstract.
- Tense. Starts quiet, gets into a dark mid/fast flow.
