Native American hand drum/round dance music from the Jemenez Pueblo (Towa) in New Mexico. This Grammy-winning band, unlike many drum circle groups, includes both men and women. They deliver contemporary pow-wow music firmly rooted in the native tradition. Mostly upbeat w/pounding drums, call-response vocals, lots of energy, and great respect for the material. Lyrics in Towa and Englis. All great stuff, especially…

1. Upbeat w/especially good vocals/driving drums. 3:21
2. Solid drumming, soaring vox. 3:47
3. Very cool wailing vocals. Nicely powerful. 4:55
6. Good vocal harmonies from the circle. 4:10
7. Strong beat and some good vocals. 4:09
9. Nicely pounding. 4:20
10. Upbeat love song. 4:06
11. Almost a taiko sound at first. 3:34
