Riffy, somber death/doom metal from Chicago. This time they’re playing a little faster than before. Overall pretty interesting in their abilities to change things up here & there but overall nothing earth shattering. Pretty close to mid-period Amorphis or Opeth.

(((1))) Decent riffing, standard death/doom formula with polishied production
(((2))) A good mix of the slow & introspective and some nice lunging chords but drags on.
((3)) Meh, they’ve done this a skillion times before and while the main riff works the rest is just a murky bunch of clichés.
((((4))))) Really nice ballad. Reminds me when metal bands could do proper ballads (not that VH-1 cock rock crap!)
((((5)))) Why it’s almost a Carcass riff you got there. Some nice but typical semi-guttural DM/sullen doom with a few interesting moments.
((6)) Yeesh, total Opeth worship minus anything remotely interesting.
(((7))) Pretty nice doom epic/ballad thingy.
