Real burly, Southern Metal (Richmond, VA to be exact) steeped equally in the traditional and modern. Super riffy and and focused. The vocals (from former Exhorder frontman Kyle Thomas) are strong and angry. A hell of a lot of fun all the way through. This is the stuff they should be playing of AOR Radio instead of AC/DC for the 4 billionth time.
(((((1))))) Fiery fast and uppity heavy rawk. Awesome!
((((2)))) Tough sounding riff with catchy AOR ready chorus (not in a bad way either).
((((3)))) Boogie metal? Yeah, somethin’ like that but in a crazy, “early Soundgarden on moonshine” kinda way. Really melodic and infectious.
((((4)))) Sabbath-y riffage with some breakdowns and vocals.
(((((5))))) Fast Judas Priest-ish by way of the other Birmingham (Alabama) and yet even more killer breakdowns.
((((6)))) (FCCs “SHIT” sung twice “FUCK” sung once) Steady and swaggery, full of ‘tude.
((((7)))) Medium paced heavy rock. Sounds perfectly entrenched in hard rock of multiple eras.
(((((8)))))) Killer twin leads and soaring, melodic vocals. Very nice.
((((9)))) Really heavy riff, pummeling tempo. Has a theme of just dealing with the hell in one’s life and “opening fire” upon it.
((((10)))) Standard but solid riff and more swaggery and fantastic twin guitar harmonies.
((((11)))) Another Sabbath-ish riff but brought into the now with some seriously rockin’ choruses and chuggin’ along nicely breakdowns.
