Album Review
Your Imaginary Friend
Reviewed 2007-05-13
Four tracks of varying lengths, all totally narcotic drone and old school analog loops and dense layers. Extremely hypnotic: do not operate heavy machinery while listening. Great stuff, recommended for fans of Eliane Radigue, Eno, William C. Harrington, NON, Lull, and sunsets viewed from high stormy peaks. Not for the attention span challenged. All instrumental (FCC clean), my picks: 1, 2, and if you have the air-time, 4

1) hypnotic drone loop, pretty
2) old school tape loops of subdued synth layers, harmonizing overtones, aural methadone, eventually grows more distorted
3) low rumble drone
4) Music For Airports tribute of sorts: long, looping bell-like chime tones, over and over, not as slowly phrased as Eno’s masterpiece but the same excellent effect as the complexity of loops and echo/answer builds
