Album Review
Your Imaginary Friend
Reviewed 2007-05-13
Electronics, experimentation, very “laptop” sounding. Loops and blips and echoes and lots of layers and swirls. Fairly easy to ignore, doesn’t really demand any attention but is certainly interesting in a soundtracky, or even some sort of extreme futuristic muzak sort of way.

1) electronic collage, repeats, sped up, brief
2) super spaced looping delay, echo
3) very simple electro beat, an experiment in minimalism, simplicity, like manipulating a metronome
4) more textured, deep tones along with chiming strings
5) electromanipulation, loops etc
6) very chill, quiet fade in, pretty
7) almost extreme minimalism, brief
8) more loops and tones
9) ebbing and flowing, grows somewhat noisey
10) brief, sounds like some samples of Adrian Belew or other proggy guitar wankery
11) interesting, more hypnotic, a looped theme that ends more organic than the rest, almost an industrial pounding
