Accessible jazz with an outside lilt, from a veteran of the '70s loft jazz days. The themes are pleasantly retro, a nice late bebop feel. Band is fronted by sax and trumpet, and they often spend the bulk of a song soloing together for a nice jam feel.

The group is named "The Rocco John Group," and its leader is Rocco John Iocavone (alto sax). Also present: Michael Irwin (trumpet), Aaron Keane (bass), Dalius Naujokaitis (drums).

- Slow, declaratory feel. Gets into some group improv that doesn't lose the jazzy sound. Picks up a bit in the second half.
- Mid/fast and upbeat; energetic
- Blues structure, nice energy. Bass and drum solos slow it up.
- A playful circusy sway, slow.
- Upbeat, jangling theme, kind of an early-'60s retro feel
- Mid/fast, gets a bit out there
- Mid/fast, a pleasant stroll
- Another pleasant mid/fast one; Rocco John goes nuts in an early solo
- Like #1, but with a more active middle, more aggressive esp. in the drums, but still a fairly calm/sparse feel
