American Thrash Metal made by some guys from that go back to the 80’s band Napalm. (Nerd note: Napalm was originally named Combat but was forced to changed the name when they signed to Combat Records for their “Bootcamp” EP in 1986). Sounds like someone unearthed an obscure LP from 1988-89 and gave it modern production. A mix of Slayer (especially the vocals) with late 80’s Prong and Megadeth. Nothing groundbreaking but overall a decent effort.
(((((1)))) (FCC “fucked” sung 5 times)
Odd guitar tone with fast riffs into total thrash metal mixing Slayer & east coast thrash/NYHC gang vocals.
((2)) Tight riff sounding like well…uh….Slayer just too silly in the repetition and obviousness.
(((3))) Speedy, thrash burrowing into
((4)) Mid-paced dullness. Sounds like a band from Orange County whose name rhymes with “stayer”.
((((5)))) Insane Slayer worship (even down to the squirrelly solos). Obvious but actually pretty rad.
(((6))) The riff is pretty flat but suddenly the vocals are very Dave Mustaine-like backed with gang vocals. Interesting but kinda odd.
(((((7))))) Mid-paced and with a good ‘groove’ with vocals that even enunciate “war” just like Tom Araya.
(((8))) Interesting mix of tempo changes going from odd-metered speeds and standard breakdowns.
((((9)))) Straight forward mix of thrash and precise breakdowns and more gang vocals. Drags on a little too long, though.
