LOCAL eclectic indie pop from Oakland/ Berkeley. First EP from these guys. Varied sounds between the songs, but the basic instrumentation is guitar (acoustic and electric), bass, keyboards and drums. Recording style makes me think a bit of the Stokes, but play with Bishop Allen, Long Winters and the like. Has a familiar sound, but there's more depth to this than is obvious on first listen.

my picks: 1, 3, 5, 6

1. mopey mid tempo with a bit of a Strokes vibe.
2. med-slow with a chunky guitar part
3. med-slow, starts with acoustic guitar and voice. fuller instrumentation and harmonies near the end.
4. mid tempo with strong piano and drums along with guitar.
5. mid tempo. bridge/ breakdown near the end is great.
6. acoustic guitar w/ slide guitar. really nice song
