Amazing high energy punkish/metal-ish Dance from Curitiba, Brazil (you can call it party funk Carioca; we had something of this genre in the A-file about a year ago – Rio Baile funk). A debut album for a three-member band formed in a snack bar called Role, hence the name “the Role Crew”. Girl/boy singing. Sort of infantile singing and song topics (see James Bond), but infectious beats. I understand that the lyrics may be filthy, but who cares, it’s in Portuguese. Several sure hits, see asteriskss for my picks.
