Very interesting mix of distorted drones mixed, dark ambience and vocals. All of this mixes very well and makes for a “total sound” that is quite remarkable and stunning in its presentation. Perfect music for gloomy, fog enshrouded days. Features local (Mountain View) artist Matt Rosin formerly of black metal/experimental weirdos Dead Raven Choir. This goes well with KTL, Jesu, Lurker of Chalice, any Cold Meat Industry band. ((((1))))) Nice opening drones that resonate with real power. Proceeds into a dark song structure working with distorted vocals and a continuation of loud, minimal cyclical waves. (((((2))))) Chaotic yet epic with pretty piano playing, hypnotic drones and vocals in the mix. (((((3))))) Cold, spacious ambience with a dark, somber feeling. ((((4)))) Crackling, odd metered bits of acoustic & electric guitar, feedback and piano and vocals. Sort of like a really bleak version of Dead Can Dance? | ||
