Indie folk from this North Carolina-based songwriter. Often slow and sparse and featuring Daniels' somewhat fragile vocals. A decent album. -Adrian My picks: 2, 3, 10 FCC: clean starts softly and builds with a repeated phrase. Nice song, if a bit repetitive. med-slow. organ and strummed guitar with fragile vocals. New Orleans horns near the end. mid tempo. sort of a jaunty pace. straight forward guitar and electric guitar. Simple but good. med-slow. very folky song (with a lilt) about jesus and the devil. slow. piano tune. short. med-slow. builds with drums and strings. slow. organ and strummed guitar, but pretty expansive. pretty long (6:37). another slow one, based around strummed guitar. pretty sparse. Another short one: piano and strings. Nice as background music, maybe. med-slow strummed folk guitar & vocals. builds near the end. quite simple, but pretty good. | ||
