Gleefully crazy/weird jazz/rock. Definitely falls in the avant-jazz bin, but you've got lots of punk-rock attitude and a few outright bluesy or funky tracks. Surf guitar or electric bass accompany snide sax or bass clarinet, often overblown for a screaming attack. Tracks titled "shit" are outright rock instrumentals. You get vocals on tracks 9 and 18. Brainy, noisy, rocking. Should fit all kinds of shows. Play it! Top choices are 1,2,6,9,11,12,15,17 ... but really, play anything. FCC safe. 1- Grooving little weird-jazz lick 2- Stomping mid/fast. Gets screaming. Touches of metal 3- Evil low groove 4- Craziness for 20 seconds 5- Coolly low. Fast but relatively easygoing. 6- Snappy fast funk 7- Cute tune that keeps speeding up. Big slow growling intro 8- Slowish catchy tune 9- Weird out-rock w/fem.vocals. Upbeat. Apparently quotes Emily Bronte 10- Like slinky cartoon-cowboy music. Slow, loping. 11- A bluesy jam, with deep deep bass clarinet 12- Cartoony anglular jabbing. Fun and fairly fast. 13- Swingy little tune 14- A fast ramble, rocking, popping 15- Fast and twangy, gets punk-like 16- Surf rock!! 17- Mid/fast, catchy R&B riffing 18- A swipe at a blues love song.
