3 COHENS: Braid Anzic, 2007 The Israeli-born Cohen siblings (Yuval, Anat & Avishai) have each made waves over the past couple of years, often by fusing modern jazz with world or classical strains. Now all three team up for a straight jazz session. They sound great together – listen for how the three literally “braid” their horn lines into each other. The rhythm section kicks, too. All good.
