SKAFISH: Tidings of Comfort and Joy
La Befana, 2006

CHRISTMAS JAZZ – Okay, so Skafish (“SKAY-fish”), onetime punk and new-wave pioneer, now makes clean-cut piano jazz. The tracks on this CD all have a light, cheery Xmas base, but listen closer and you’ll hear lots of weird little twists & turns in the phrasing and harmonies.
