Yet another “one-long-track-recorded-live-of-improvised-noise from No Fun records, this time a mind-meld of 4 of the greatest noisicians of our lifetime. Nels Cline (Singers and countless high-profile collaborations), Adam Licht (Ball Period, Bongwater), Lee Ranaldo (ahem, Sonic Youth), Carlos Giffoni (Monotract). Listening to this I am immediately struck by what happens when a collaboration of this caliber occurs doing a seemingly run-of-the mill recipe (at least nowadays) of live improvised noise. Just have a listen, see what I mean.

(one long track, drop the needle on it and feel free to quit whenever, go into mic break and maintain as soundbed, etc) Starts off quiet but evolves quickly into spacey droniness, gets louder around ~30 min, then back to creepy subdued noise. Not particularly harsh, but not meditative. Good and creative and obviously the product of talent.
