The female voice behind Swans/World of Skin collaborates with Relapse Records metalists Byla and leaves behind her goth drama and instead shifts to wall of sound noise, using her voice as another coloration of intense drones, washes of noise. INCREDIBLE! Like Boris at their noisiest crossed with My Bloody Valentine at his most harmonic. Beautiful stuff, inarguably. Includes two tracks that are acoustic guitar based, but not on the overtly-goth end of the spectrum. Droney tracks are long, but definitely worth it.

1) very quiet start then wall of sound overtones, wash/drone
2) 12 string guitar arpeggio, pretty
3) metal tinged wall of noise with doomy vocalizations, scary
4) more acoustic guitar with jarboe’s vocalizations, no lyrics, just melody
5) heavy guitar washes, lovely
