Chamber/improv duets of piano and woodwinds. Polite stuff with a subversive nudge to it, striving for an open sound hewn from both modern-classical and jazz. Might actually fit some classical/experimental shows. 1- Perky, playful. Just kinda stops. 2- Serious classical piano, slowish. Perks up w/jazzy sax, then crashes. 3- Tribal flute meditation. Jazzes up later. 4- Stern slowish power piano. Solo. 5- Crazed flute. Solo. 6- Perky and fast, after a slow start 7- Piano/flute: Placid, but gets pretty crazy and spacey, in a grand slowish way 8- With Jew's harp! and a whistle/flute thing. Quiet but fast. 9- Hard-digging jazz flute, after quiet start 10- Gentle piano, fluttering flute. Serious. 11- Perkier, with mid/fast poking sax. 12- Sad clarinet 13- Downcast; a bit agitated. Long-crash ending. 14- Perky and free-wheeling, after a faux-renaissance start 15- Calm flute/sax and dark, digging piano; an unhappy "aftermath." | ||
