Warm vocals, great guitar work from Manual Lopes Andrade (a.k.a. Tcheka) from Cape Verde. Rooted in a sort of Griot pop but flavored with influences from other cultures and musical styles. Creative, flowing, favoring changes of tempos and unpredictable shifts of sound. All original compositions. This guy is going places.

1. Starts down, picks up w/a hint of Latin rhythms, fades out.
*2. Upbeat w/some great instrumental breaks that hint of jazz.
3. Downtempo, gentle guitar work. Really pretty but kind of sad.
4. Midtempo guitar/perc bounce w/soaring vox. Picks up, good guitar.
*5. Relaxed w/tripping vocals, picks up, cool perc, totally catchy.
*6. Relaxed guitar, shouting vocals, gets driving & busy.
*7. Upbeat & powerful w/ a great melody and some hip guitar/perc.
8. Down/mid and kinda lazy w/warm vocals & guitar.
9. Relaxed but bright and endearing.
10. Cool but subtle percussion drives this catchy midtempo track.
*11. Starts slow, gets mid. Warm and swaying and nicely relaxed.
*12. Mid/up and joyful (slows down some) w/a “life is good” feel.
