Samples, sample art, noise collage, tape manipulation, electronics. You name it, its probably all happening at the same time. Fans of Pepe Deluxe, Matmos, Tipsy, People Like Us, Residents, Throbbing Gristle take note. Great stuff from local genius who is also part of Modular Set, Vulcanus 68, i.e. all the best stuff happening locally. Check it out.

1) slow waltz, samples have a classic Itallian restaurant crooning feel (though it’s the ranchera of Vicente Fernandez), manipulated subtle and strange
2) very quiet start, sparse, droney, piece builds slowly, creepy, adding on the sources
3) bursting and swirling electronics, samples, slowed tape manipulation
4) slowed bent folded and manipulated old weird samples, lounge exotica downtempo beat and feel
5) simple percussion manipulated with spring reverb and echo, very trippy, almost expect a dub tune to break out – picture the best part of dub: the echo, the trippiness, its all here
6) creepy sparse, dark, downtempo pulsing
7) wonders in Moog-land, with heavily treated voices, totally epic
8) bird/environmental ambience to start, slowly builds in a narcotic, chill Eno’esque fashion
