Latin jazz/rock with an almost operatic story. Read the notes for the full tale of love, loss, and life. The vocals are warm, the band has some nice moments to shine. A bit self-consciously hip at times, but there’s a lot to like. *1. Starts w/nature sounds, slow romantic, w/a fragile air. Lovely. 2. Midtempo vocal duet with a hip sound. Electric keyboards near end 3. Mid/uptempo fem lead w/male echoing in the back. 4. Sort of a mid/up cha-cha w/a decidedly modern sound. Vocal duet. *5. Mid/up jazz rock with fiery upbeat jam at the end. 6. Upbeat rock vocal duet w/lots of energy. *7. Relaxed and sleepy with some nice vocal harmonies. *8. Warm, sexy fem vocals, starts slow, picks up & gets layered, ends 30-seconds short w/very quiet nature sounds. | ||
