War Is Hell

Raucous Punk n’ rawk from Long Beach but this release is by way of our Croatian friends at Listen Loudest (aka: Slusaj Najglasnije) . Good and kinda raw punky rock with a ‘70’s vibe & attitude not far from NY Dolls, The Pagans, Lazy Cowgirls. Very consistent and you can hear that this would’ve sounded great live. Btw, these guys originally were called Suicide Kings who also have a release (or two?) on Slusaj Najglasnije.

(((((2)))) Bass laden, lo-fi but revved up 70’s punk.
(((((3))))) Holy Johnny Thunders! Totally punk n’ Rock n’ fuggin’ roll excellence.
((((4)))) Straight ahead and to the point verses and choruses. Catchy riffs, too.
(((((5))))) Glammy, trashy rock awesomeness.
((((6)))) Really good cover of the Stones classic.
(((7))) Strangely remincent of early Devo crossed with a bunch of garage-y rock.
(((8))) (FCC “SHIT” sung once). Basic, punky rock with a little too much reliance on a so-so chorus.
((((9)))) Bright guitar sound, mid-pace straight up wailin’ strings with a 60’s garage-punk chorus.
((((10)))) Boisterous cover of the MC5 number. Lotsa fiery fretboard action.
(((11))) Slow & strummy, kinda glammy. Not far from early Alice Cooper or Dolls.
