Band of local stalwarts play a very creative and interesting form of heavy rock, songs evolve and go through changes, but not in a “oh look how complex we are” blatantly mathy way. Alternative Tentacles/Jello would not do us wrong, once again, these guys aren’t afraid to mix heaviness, punk and some slick assed use of phase/pitch effect on the vocals that, for better or for worse, I haven’t heard used so much since Janes Addiction. Powerful stuff!! Choose any track.

1) driving urgent, shifts to gallop, then back, ends on simple 4/4 driving
2) pensive intro to crazy balls out rocker
3) guitar melody and pensive drums til the thing basically explodes with a mostly 2/4 rockin feel, with a slow dénouement
4) pounding, pounding
5) a bit mathy, but cool over the top off-kilter mix of mellow and loud, cinematic with stops and starts
6) powerful triplet feel
7) definitely the mathiest, off kilterest of them all, impressive stuff
