I wouldn’t pigeonhole this as retro-psyche exactly, but others might. Theres a low-fi original simple rock element to this that permeates, no Farfisa organs, no excessive reverb and echo (though its there) and all the other earmarks of “psyche”. I would liken this more to T Rex, or White Album era Beatles. This is closer to experimental folk, something you’d see at Terrastock or the Hemlock on a Tuesday night. For fans of Gris Gris, Velvet Underground, Spacemen 3 related projects.
1) low fi folky, somber with piano, cymbals, guitar, simple vocs, devolves into a reverby cacophony of sounds for the last half
2-3) swingy low fi upbeat dirty folk rock, simple drums, guits/vocs
4) very brief snippet of a song
5) upbeat driving, fun feel, “hit”
6-7) another upbeat ditty seemingly from another era, brief
8) slower, more mindful
9) “rock” guitar, kind of a Who feel, especially if the drums were turned up
10) slower swing, almost bluesy
11) FCC
@ 1:14 remaining, sorta not too obvious, a healthy fuzz a la Spiritualized
12) feedback syposium, noise
13) another simple song
14) field recording, noise, sounds like street sounds, simple as that
15) swaggery in a very low-fi manner, dirty swamp
16) clangey noise
17) feedbacky noise
18) swingy, plodding rock
19) slow swingy with vocal melody doubled up guitar, cool
20) rather stoney rock, watch false ending at ~30 seconds left cuz it comes back
21) cool looped noise, mildly melodic
22) noisey, with piano
23) more swingy folk rock, very echoey vocs
24) dirgey
25) FCCs
26) swaggery and noisey, a summation of al the above
