Long running Bay Area Thrash/Heavy Metal band doing exactly that. It also helps that they have 4/5 of the original line up along with ever present Paul Bostaph (Slayer, Forbidden) on drums. Not much that’s overdone – just workable and straight ahead metal. Pretty good.

((((1)))) Typical but good & short intro.
((((2))))) “Whoa-oh-oh”s and gallops riffs, a a solid main melody & vocals.
((((3)))) Tight “groove” riffs, sounds like Megadeth crossed with usual Testament structure. The only good metal tune about 9/11? Discuss.
(((4))) Great, classic Bay Area thrash riffs but nearly ruined by “wanna be Hatebreed”/”bro metal” vocals.
((5)) Slow, clunky, pinch harmonic, repetition, ultimately boring.
((((6)))) Fast to mid-paced, snarling vocals. Elongated dual melodies.
(((((7))))) Hammering riffs, good vocals/chorus & overall structure. Explodes into some pretty killer thrash at 1:37.
(((8))) Thick riffs, more straight up rockin’ tempo very 80’s structure but not bad.
(((9))) Catchy main riff but too focused on the vocals & mostly pedestrian.
(((10))) Confusing mix but good of late 80’s mid-paced thrash and 90’s “groove”.
(11) Wavers from the melodic “introspective rock” junk vs. the heavy parts. Think a Bay Area Metal version of Alice In Chains.
