Singer songwriter, this album is church/ relationships oriented, mellow rock background, nice chorus, definitely reminds me of a not so gravelly voiced Tom Waits. all tracks are very good FCC clean
*1:3:00 nice little mid tempo song, railroad & women, rich almost industrial ambient background, kind of Tom Waits sound.
2: 2:38 mid to faster, " chain gang of love" e guitar
3: 2:14 mid to faster with chorus
4: 3:10 slow, tremolo guitar, cry in your beer, woman leaves him,
5: 2:08 great lyrics, fuzz e guitar, nice mellow rock background
6: 2:59 lack of rain dirge, banjo? rich almost industrial ambient background
7: 2:08 he is waiting for the train, female spoken word (her side of the story)
8: 1:54 church revival, slow to mid, pray, sing and cry, e guitar rock background
9: 3:59 lyrics about drug dealers, slow to mid, e guitar rock
background
10: 5:31 song about preachers "Jesus told me to save your
souls" mid to faster tempo, chorus
11: 1:02 "your God is a fancy God, not the one I know". almost
a church holler with chorus
12: 2:36 mid tempo, e guitar rock background
13: 3:22 slower lack of rain dirge version of #6
14: 3:14 slow, almost crying " I am gonna stand" with female
spoken word
15: 1:14 shortwave radio noises, distorted voice, screaming e guitar
16: 3:43 slow ballad about a soldier & war
17: 2:33 slow to mid, e guitar, relationship gone bad, on the
run
18: 1:52 slow " if not now when" D  Farrell   11/2008
