Modern, "free-jammin" psych-rock Sometimes mellow, guitar tones and layers. Whereas othertimes they go for the fullscale freakout awash in wah-wah and distortion. Interesting stuff that'll go good with Bardo Pond, Spacemen 3 and Mammatus. 33 RPM SIDE A ((((1)))) Mellow, repetitive chords with a hint of electronic haze deep in the mix. (((((2))))) Bassy, spacey and accelerrated like Hawkwind's deep space jams. Blurred out vocals and the freakout near the end. ((((3)))) Full scale tweaked and freaked bass, noodly guitars, insane, shouted vocals. ((((4)))) Laid back, spacey psych with more bass/drum and nice guitar chords. Not far from a less techy Battles. SIDE B ((1)) Super distorted, down psych-noise murkiness. ((((2)))) Floaty, wailing guitar but hazy, kinda epic yet also repetitious. ((((3)))) Uptempo, low-end thuddin' vs. get you high free jammin'. (((4))) Strange but pretty interesting mix of loose 60's guitar and a sort of samba beat on lock groove? | ||
