Wooden Shjips - Vol. 1

Psychedelia, heavy rock & drone. Reverb to the max - organ, guitar, drums & sometimes vocals. Compilation of early releases by this SF group. Fuzz & feedback straight to the vein/brain, whichever you prefer. Try 1, 2, 5. No FCCs.

1) Fuzzy guitar, kraut-y organs, & drums way in the background. Gorgeous buzzing repetition.
2) Distorto vox, a terrificly spooky organ riff, and Super Fuzz feedback. May explode your brain.
3) Drone up in here. Reversed spoken vox over textured hum, birdy chirps & other random noises.
4) Similar to 1, but more solemn. Spaced out organ riff, sharper drums & feint reverbed vocals.
5) More rock structure to this one. High-pitched guitar riffage. Faster organ work and a busy tambourine.
6) Live track..? Despite poor sound quality, this one has energy and fierce organ & guitar work.
