Local 6-piece Afro funk/Latin party band. They sound like fun but the recording/mixing is muddy and nothing sounds truly balanced. It’s a shame because they obviously have talent and enjoy what they’re doing but the CD doesn’t do them justice. Don’t let that prevent you from playing it, though. In English & Spanish.
1. Upbeat Afro funk w/solid bass & horns. 5:06
*2. Upbeat funk w/a good sense of style. 4:12
*3. Nicely retro 70’s-Latin funk. 4:51
4. Midtempo Afro funk, the vocals are weak on this one. 6:41
5. Mid/up Latin funk, very reminiscent of Santana. 5:17
6. Sweet, midtempo song of hope. 4:09
7. Slow & sultry at first, picks up later. 5:07
8. Crunchy guitar intro, upbeat rock.
