Varied, story-songs from Mr. Bisi (producer of everyone from Afrika Bambaata to Sonic Youth to Prong). Lots of playful at oftentimes silly stuff but always entertaining. Not far off from Lou Reed in places.

((((1))))) Begins with an interesting ‘lil story, then builds into nice quirky strummy rock tune with female & male vox.
(((2))) Silly food as sex metaphors, organ (eh, the musical kind), laid back pace albeit fun and ‘lil confusing.
(((3))) Xylophone (glockenspiel?), slow tempo with random thoughts flowing through as the song builds. Weird vocals at times but generally interesting.
(((4))) Blipping beats, hazy French vocals, clean guitar sound eventually gets louder and goofier.
(((((5))))) Slow, mildly twangy. Great organ and “smoke-filled room in a David Lynch movie” mood.
(((6))) Story about a Brooklyn bar at 2am. Pretty random but sorta amusing.
((7)) Confusing and waaay too silly, stadium rock tune only thing saving it is the vocals here & there.
(((8))) Slow, tablas & sitars then a bit louder and sort of ballad-like. Pretty similar to Lou Reed with some odd backing vox.
((((9)))) Rad psych guitar, steady, good lead and backing vocals. Becomes faster at 4:34.
((((10)))) Strummy, twangy, more sitar & story telling. Pretty nice.
(((11))) Slow, smoky, builds up into some odd Americana rock thing that I can’t quite figure out.
(((12))) Quick, poetic/near hip-hop vocals with scratching effect. Like Lou Reed in his scooter commercial era (1985ish). Decent.
