World/blues crossover that blends West Africa with Mississippi roots music. (Though Africa is more apparent than Mississippi.) Crazy good playing throughout. Vocals in….well, not English. Cool perc, great guitars (perc by Kinney Kimbrough, son of Junior, guitar by Eric Deaton who also played w/Jr. Kimbrough.)

*1. Down & dirty groove w/wicked guitars & vocals. Midtempo.
2. Upbeat African jam w/lots of energy and a driving sound.
*3. Upbeat call/response sound w/sharp perc.
*4. Midtempo w/nicely dirty guitar & a relaxed, warm sway.
5. Gritty, midtempo head nodder w/great guitar.
6. Midtempo, lyrical w/a definite Malian air.
*7. Cool drummin’ intro w/fast vocals. So good.
8. Bright, warm, relaxed midtempo sway w/a happy sound.
9. Fast vocals, a capella, drivin, trippin, so cool.
