Lo-fi, minimalist melodies centered on female vocals. Unique female vocals similar to Karen Oliver or Lovetta from His Name is Alive. Both acoustic and electronic instruments are used, lightly distorted. I go back and forth between feeling like this is genius work or just amateurish. Definitely interesting, eerily beautiful, and powerfully emotive. Try 3, 5, 8. FCC clear.
)Ambient: dark, pulsing.
)Eerie, faraway piano and a soft voice right up close.
)* Percussive bells & simple electronic blips give rhythm.
)Sweet airy tune – “I wish I was your cloud”
)*Beautiful melancholy – piano, multiple guitars.
)Soft noise, some distorted recordings toward the end. No vocals. Reminds me of Hood.
)Live. Starts as textured layers of sounds, shapes up about halfway through to indie rock structure.
)*Heavy bass guitar, a little distortion a la early liz phair. Last half of song is a melody from a mechanical toy.
)Electronic ambience, noisy at beginning and more atmospheric toward the end.
