folk/pop, range of different vocal styles paired beautifully with various acoustic instruments. lots of peaceful easy-listening tunes. active feminist makes it known in a couple tracks. start with 1, 4, 10. FCCs in 1, 9.

1. FCC "shit" @ 1:17, waltzy, acoustic guitar and heavy downbeat, mentions new year, some brass, echoey vocals emphasize theme of reflection

2. quicker and more intense, song about women's rights, more like rock or heavy easy listening, intense strings near end, 6/8 time

3. softer but increasing depth, acoustic guitar and some keyboard

4. slow and mellow melody but upbeat and non-cheesy love song lyrics

5. mid-tempo and soft, no drums, mostly acoustic guitar

6. disco, backup guy vocals

7. keyboard synth with some guitar lingering in background, synchronized violin plucking a few times

8. physicist's lullaby, offers praise and glory to the atom, laments nuclear violence

9. FCC "bullshit" @ 0:58 & 2:12, soft and romantic, string bass

10. upbeat soft rock, gentle percussion

11. quiet acoustic, only guitar and bass and vocals

12. instrumental mardi gras jazz, various brass and subtle saxaphones, uptempo and feel-good
