Album Review

Holy shit, excellent reissue of this little know British post-punk band. Clangy, angular guitars, a discoish rhythm section, ghostly keyboards and a pretty dark feeling overall. As wire magazine puts it, these guys sound like “a certain ratio with tunes”. Sounds a bit industrial at times too, while their love of krautrock and dub is also pretty apparent. Highly recommended! Play with A Certain Ratio, Joy Division, The Sound, Durutti Column and be sure to check their other reissue (Memory Span) that was on the a-file recently.
