Piano trio, mostly "nice" stuff with some sense for adventure. Tracks like 1,2,6,7 get kind of out-there, albeit in an accessible way, while the others are a more comforting, rainy-day mode of lyrical piano with nicely stretched-out soloing spaces. Good stuff. (fyi, Tracks 2 and 4 are really nice but take their time developing.)

Interesting side note: The three members have roots in Pakistan, Morocco, and Iran: Amino Belyamani (piano), Sam Minaie (bass), Qasim Naqvi (drums). Knowing that, the group's name takes on a whole extra meaning.

- Slow crashing; a clattery, disjoint sound but still in the bounds of a jazz piano trio. Lots of quiet pauses.
- Plinky, snappy, sparse. Nice thumpy groove later.
- Mid/fast rainy-day piano
- Pleasant ballad mode, gets into a deeper intensity later
- Exploratory but gets into a good mid/fast pace, with tentative piano chords over brisk drums.
- Strong pulsing, mid/fast. Big rumbling end.
- Blurry piano rolling, and a tough, small beat. Slower, lyrical middle. Louder, nicely stiff ending.
- Snappy, calm mid/fast, a quietly satisfying groove
