Epic death metal from Seattle. Conceptually the album’s about astrology’s influence upon early Christianity. (See the movie “Zeitgeist”). Sonically it’s a mix of Immortal, Bolt Thrower and even a little Amon Amarth.

((((1)))) Great intro track, very anticipatory, military drums and all that.
(((((2)))) Thick at times jagged riffs, clangy cymbal work and some nice blasts and hints at several styles. (crusty metal, melo-death, etc).
((((3))))) Bassy, loud drumming, guttural vocals, some odd metered parts, a few pinch harmonics.
(((((4))))) Black Metal riffage with epic keyboards, big “march” feeling then charges onward. Good syncopation between the keyboards and guitars.
(((((5))))) Slow, death/doom crawl with moody parts. Not far from Neurosis crossed with Bolt Thrower.
(((((6)))))) Charging, ripping Death Metal with a hint of Black Metal.
((((7))))) Crust Blackend Death Metal with a great opening riff and then village destroying firepower.
(((((8))))) Big, beefy sound with a few keyboard accents. Strong riffs all around and a blazing solos/bass mix.
(((((9)))) Gothic keyboards, slow trudge tempo ‘ala Bolt Thrower & Amon Amarth. Catchy chorus and build up, nice thudding parts @ the 4:30 mark, too.
(((((10))))) Melodic intro with a good blend of keyboards and burrowing guitar.
((((11)))) Mellow & doomy intro, varied riffing, hammering drums, more of the “charging to battle” vibe, bassy tone and elongated end.
