Hip-Hop "Immensely Clever" - Spin Magazine. Aristocrunk = crunk Memphis sound with elements of baroque with clever, tongue-in-cheek lyrics. Features Memphis Rap Icons 8Ball, etc. Well produced. Select tracks are catchy and can stand the test of time. Follow the stars and watch the FCCs. It's got to be tracks #5,3 in the daytime, and #14,19, 13 at night. Review by "Ranger" Rick 6/25/09 1) Intro 2) * Forgettable. Lame chorus with repetitive trumpet melody. 3) ** Sick Booty-bass beat sounds great with a sub-woofer. "Club" track. 4) * forgettable. Intense Synth melody in the beat. 5) *** FCC "Butt naked bitches.." a la N2Deep "Back to The Hotel," Nice Rap by Eightball. 6) ** FCC slow speed unpretentious and cheesy/fun. "cocks" at 2:27 fun 7) * weak beat does Palm Beach no justice. 8) ** lyrical skills lack & chorus is sub-par, but heads COULD bob to this one. 9) * Old Skool beat - "There's a place in France.." melody. Another fictional piece. 10) ** Dig the vibe and catchy chorus about needing "more chemicals." "State of the times" 11) Interview (skit) 12) * weak beat and lame chorus. I hate cheerleaders sometimes. This is one of those times. 13) ** FCC. Blending classical string melodies with crunk hip-hop style. Rap about their status. "Fuck" at 3:14 is sole swear. 14) *** FCC. Funny material about snobs, bourgeoise, upper class, pimps, players, and the like. Entertaining if you're paying attention. Perfect snub for our community. 15) * FCC. :17sec intro. Clearly communicated cheesy raps entertain a bit, but the chorus is lame, and the beat is repetitive and too simple with a weak, nearly non-existent bassline. 16) * FCC.
