"Percussion" As Percussion

Weird, usually harsh experimental noise, but with a very methodical purpose and construction (see back of case and under CD for some explanation that's worth reading). Noisiest parts bring Necroanal or Jliat to mind (the latter wrote quite a mindfuck forward for this record - read it). Very conceptual and academic, but interesting even for just the sound. 1. A bunch of names spoken at once (0:05)
*2. Continuous onslaught of noise. Jackson Pollock translated to music. Apparently, all of the other tracks on the disc put together (except the last one), then reversed. Harsh, but somehow nearly listenable. (5:00)
*3. Very pleasant female narration, except quadrupled (or so). For the number of voices, surprisingly jumbled and hard to grasp any single part. (4:00)
*4. Layered narration like last track, male this time, with more variation in density, and with added background music/field recordings. (3:00)
5. John & Yoko, burning in hell, those sinners. (0:10)
*6. A whole bunch of recognizable songs layered. Sounds like 50 people covering a Red Krayola Free Form Freakout, especially as songs finish and drop out. (5:00)
7. Seven movie scenes at once, mostly people plus a few bits of saxophone. (1:10)
8. More John & Yoko, but quiet. (0:10)
9. Cheesy beats, but there's quite an explanation. (0:24)
10. Jumbled computer voices in waves, steadily drop out. (0:17)
11. Track 2 minus this track, track 1, and track 10, so slightly less busy. (3:57)
12. Noise and hums. (0:10)
