Review of Claire Cronin’s New Emotional
This is a CD where the songs seem more like journal entries. It’s like the guitar’s only function is to make this a musical effort rather than spoken word. Cronin’s voice drives the music, and lyrics are so intimate that I felt as though I were eavesdropping.
FCC clean. Try 1, 8, 10

1. Sad and slow moving. 2. Sounds like Catholic Songs popular in the 1980s (One Bread, One Body/Here I Am, Lord). 3. See no. 2. 4. Voice shrills. 5. More forceful. 6. Gentle and quiet. 7. A little more optimistic. 8. Cool song, hopeful.
9. Quiet, voice stays low. 10. DO NOT PLAY!! SONG CUTS OFF!
