Honey-warm male vocalist doing tangos proud with lots of passion and a solid band. As the title states, a mix of classics and new compositions (by Vayo). He’s a worthy keeper of the style with respect for the history of this art form without being constrained by it. It’s not subtle, but tango shouldn’t be.

1. Classic midetmpo tango w/a rich, traditional sound.
*2. Warm contemporary tango w/a lush emotional sound.
3. Slow and warm seduction with touch of drama & jazz.
*4. Sweet romance full of longing and passion. Sigh…
5. Slow cello leads into a downtempo sweep. Tragically lovely.
*6. Traditional tango w/a soft, cinematic quality.
7. Romantic and dramatic invitation to the dancefloor.
8. A more modern sound, midtempo & fresh.
*9. Sweet valse with a bright, old-fashioned sway.
10. Down/midtempo w/good use of band.
11. More lively w/a bright, happy sound.
*12. Classic and passionate w/a melodic warmth.
13. Midtempo romance and drama. Very theatrical.
