A toss-up as to whether this should be in world or jazz. World won. Keezer’s piano leads a talented and spirited band through some hip Afro-Peruvian-Argentinian jazz. Sophisticated arrangements that never try too hard and lots of solid solos keep things interesting. *1. Up/midtempo w/cool piano, sax, perc. Nicely energetic. 2. Mid/up with wordless vocals & and a fresh, playful feeling. *3. Sexy fem vox in a delicious midtempo dance. *4. Relaxed blend of perc, sax, piano. Warm & slinky. *5. Upbeat piano/perc, gets into a driving interplay w/fire. 6. Slow fem vox, a sweet and reflective ballad. So pretty. 7. Afro-Latin blend, down/midtempo w/some great piano. 8. Downtempo, delicate vocals & a late night, small club sound. | ||
