Power Drowning

Lo-fi messed up psychedelic garage rock. Very bluesy, very messy and very simple with a definite rough punk-rock edge to it and totally crazed screamed out vocals. Hell, I'd be that crazed myself if I was a teenager living in the suburban hell known as orange county (fullerton, in this case). Don't take these kids lightly though: they rock and they do so pretty seriously. Good stuff. Play with The Growlers, The Stooges, Husker Du, Bobby Fuller, 13th Floor Elevators, Volcano Suns.

1. starts crazy and messy, gets kinda groovy midway
2. start-stop rhythm here, mid-paced
3. starts slow and picks up tempo, kinda surfy rhythm

*5. kinda fast punk rocker, with a couple of slow interludes
6. starts chaotic and crazy, then goes into this blues plod thing
*7. fast and bass driven, hits you like a machine gun, quite cool
8. starts slow and brooding then picks up speed, lots of rhythm changes
*9. military march style beginning, pretty bluesy
10. again slow blues plod that gets progressively faster and messier
11. screwing around for 15s, then intense fast paced punk... then again it slows down
*12. nice little intro guitar riff, gets fast and messy pretty soon
